Crew Mates
Crew mates help a player's ship in his voyage around Sios. You can hire multiple crew mates. Your ship can gain the maximum regen of +7 per hour by hiring enough crew. Quests also require a certain number of crew. Further functionality and other bonuses may be added in the future. In order to hire crew, you must have a friend who has a Battlestations account in either Friendster or Facebook server.
Adding Crew Mates
You can add crew mates by doing the following steps
- Crew members can be added by inviting friends through either Facebook or Friendster. Invited friends who add the Battle Stations application become permanent crew mates. They are no longer removed from the game after five days.
- Crew members can be added by hiring friends who currently play Battle Stations. This can be done by clicking “Crew,” then click “Invite Friends.”
Please take not that the person being invited should have a Facebook/Friendster account as well as a Battlestations account. If an invite was sent by a friend, but he suddenly removes you from his/her friends list in Facebook/Friendster, you will receive an error.
You can also buy crew at Ocho Online(Robot Crew). They are sold for 50 ocho coins.
Crew Positions
There are seven crew positions which are:
- First Mate
- Quartermaster
- Pilot
- Technician
- Gunner
- Cook
- Deckhand
Except for Deckhand, each position can only be assigned to one crew member. Positions can be reassigned at any time.
There is currently no functionality for any positions.
Crew Bonus
Adding more crew mates will increase AP generation. The bonuses are:
- 0-9 Crew: +0AP/hour bonus
- 10-19 Crew: +1AP/hour bonus
- 20 or more: +2AP/hour bonus
With the maximum crew bonus, this translates into +7AP/hour on weekdays and +10AP/hour on weekends.
Crew Level
Crew mates have levels corresponding to their captain levels. There is currently no functionality regarding this.
In the future, crew mates that are within your level range (+/- 5 levels) might give you a slight buff.1)
Robot Crew
Robot crew are available for purchase Through Ocho Online2). This allows players to fill crew positions without having to use the crew invite system, though this costs 50 Ocho coins for 50 crew.
